AFU Successfully Advances In Kherson Direction: Map Of Fighting In Ukraine This Morning

The Ukrainian army continues to fight fiercely against the Russian occupiers for the 226th day.

The map of combat operations in Ukraine on the morning of Thursday, October 6, has undergone significant changes. The Ukrainian military is moving steadily in the Kherson direction, pushing back the invaders. This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to DeepStateMAP.

The map shows that the Ukrainian military has liberated Novohryhorivka, the Kherson region. Tryphonivka and Novovasylivka, the Kherson region, go under the AFU control.

Meanwhile, the Russian invaders have partial success near Zaitseve in the Donetsk region.

AFU fighters continue their counteroffensive in the Kherson region. The Russians are retreating and trying to gain a foothold somewhere.

On October 5, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that three villages, namely Novovoskresenske, Novohrihorivka and Petropavlivka, had been liberated in the Kherson region.
