‘Putin Was Paralyzed, I Have Never Seen Him Like This’

The ex-speechwriter of the head of the Kremlin named the event that broke the dictator.

The loss of the Kharkiv region was a huge blow for dictator Vladimir Putin. He literally went dumbstruck.

Abbas Gallyamov, a Russian political scientist and former speechwriter for the head of the Kremlin, spoke about this on air on the Popular Politics YouTube channel.

He recalled that Putin opened the Ferris wheel and enjoyed the fireworks in Moscow in early September, while his army suffered one of the most crushing defeats in the war with Ukraine. This caused bewilderment in the Russian society, and, probably, greatly collapsed the ratings of the dictator.

“The most striking thing that I noticed over these six months is, of course, his absolutely inadequate behavior at the moment when the front collapsed near Kharkiv. He just buried his head in the sand. He was unable to do anything. Logic prompted to cancel fireworks, celebrations, convene the Security Council, go to the front, in the end. Demonstrate to your own bewildered subjects that you are dealing with a problem, that you are not an ostrich. And he was paralyzed! I didn’t see him like that,” Gallyamov said.

After the loss of the Kharkiv region, Putin went on a visit to the SCO summit in Samarkand, which only harmed him.

“His troops are fleeing, abandoning equipment, throwing collaborators into the arms of the SBU. And he went to dance with the leaders of Asian countries. When everything is fine with you, when everything is in order in the country, the rear is strong, you can lead meaningless round dances ... But not in a situation where everything has collapsed for you,” the political scientist of the Russian Federation emphasized.

In his opinion, then Russian society partially woke up. The people saw the inadequacy of their leader.

“It was the first time when Putin showed the scarcity of his capabilities so clearly. He showed that he was no longer rowing against the current, he was being carried down the river ... He was no longer leading, events were leading him. His situation is getting worse, but he can't do anything about it,” Gallyamov stated.
