They themselves were not allowed to the court.

As tut.by reports, the so-called court in Mahiliou has sentenced Brest bloggers Siarhei Piatrukhin and Aliaksandr Kabanau.

Kastrychnitski district court judge Volha Krauchanka found them guilty of "organization and preparation of actions, grossly violating public order, as well as insulting a public officer". Piatrukhin was also found "guilty of insulting the judge". Piatrukhin and Kabanau were sentenced to three years in a penal colony. The bloggers themselves were not allowed into the courtroom: they were taken out of the courtroom at the beginning of the trial, all petitions on the participation of the accused in the trial were dismissed by Judge Krauchanka.

Bloggers Siarhei Piatrukhin and Aliaksandr Kabanau covered the topics connected with the construction of the harmful battery factory near Brest. They were awarded the National Award of Charter'97 for the protection of human rights.
