During the peaceful action, the AMAP officer pulled out a pistol.

In the court of the Maladzechna district, on September 29, a verdict was passed on two young people, Pavel Piaskou and Uladzislau Yeustsiahniejeu, who were tried under Part 2 of Art. 363 of the Criminal Code for resisting AMAP officers with the use of violence during a scuffle with the security forces at the June 19 rally, at which the AMAP officer pulled out a pistol. Judge Victoryja Paliashchuk found both guilty and punished them with imprisonment in a general regime colony: Pavel Piaskou - for three years and three months, and Uladzislau Yeustsiahniejeu - for three years. Prosecutor Siarhej Habrukovich asked the judge for such a punishment for Maladzechna residents, according to the website spring96.org.

25-year-old Uladzislau Yeustsiahniejeu was detained to serve his sentence in the courtroom immediately after the verdict was announced. Pavel Piaskou, 31, was changed from house arrest to detention on September 18.

The court ruled that Pavel Piaskou and Uladzislau Yeustsiahniejeu offered "violent resistance" to the officers of the Minsk AMAP Viachslau Yakavenka and Yauhen Baranau, respectively, thereby "committing a crime" under Part 2 of Art. 363 of the Criminal Code. The court found that, in the course of the Maladzechna men's actions, the AMAP officers received injuries: damage to uniforms and bodily injuries in the form of scratches on the knees and elbows, which did not entail a short-term health disorder and significant disability. On the penultimate day of the trial, forensic medical examiner Mikhail Skabej, who examined the injured the AMAP officers and gave an opinion on their injuries, said that he had recorded a 2 cm by 1.5 cm scratch on Yakavenka's left knee. But no photographic record of the injuries was taken due to "lack of orders."

At the trial, Pavel Piaskou said that, on the street, he heard shouts like "Save, help!" and saw a scuffle where "the AMAP officer presses on a man." According to him, he wanted to end this conflict since there were children there, and this was happening in a public place. Neither Pavel Piaskou nor Uladzislau Yeustsiahniejeu had any intention to inflict damage on the AMAP officers, as it was stated during the trial.

Let us remind you that, on June 19 in Maladzechna, during the action of solidarity, young people tried to recapture the detained Mikalaj Alejnik from the security forces. The footage of the scuffle near the police minibus caused a great resonance since one of the videos shows that, at some point, one of the AMAP officers had a pistol in his hands.
