Workers are decisive about this.

The leader of the European Belarus civil campaign, Andrei Sannikov, addressed the Belarusians:

Dear compatriots!

I can't find words to express my feelings of pride and gratitude for the courage, selflessness and determination of the citizens of our country, defending their dignity throughout Belarus, at their workplaces, in the streets and squares.

The whole world is watching with admiration the non-violent courage of Belarusians; they resent the war unleashed against peaceful citizens by the illegal authorities.

Criminal Lukashenka is publicly deprived of all grounds both to call himself head of state and a Belarusian.

His regime is a disgraceful page in our history that should be turned over as soon as possible.

Belarus has freed from fear, from the bunch of criminals who have occupied it.

During the struggle against this regime, simple and clear rules have become obvious: do not trust a word of the dictator; do not fall for the scenario of special services; strengthen solidarity and keep to our demands.

We are able and must follow these rules to prevent a split in the ranks of popular protest. Any attempts to create some incomprehensible structures that have no powers and try to replace people's demands with chatter bear a threat both to people and these structures, as the recent example with the "council for peace talks" shows.

During the "election" the citizens of Belarus perfectly managed with those "candidates" the special services tried to impose on them and overwhelmingly supported the candidate of protest Siarhei Tsikhanouski instead. His wife's name Svetlana was on the ballot.

Any councils, committees, and praesidiums can be useful only if they defend the interests of the people and strictly follow the demands delivered:

- Lukashenka's resignation;

- release of all political prisoners;

- hold new elections under international supervision.

Workers on strike strongly demand them today across the country.

They have taken many risks to help us all win.

They see that we cannot stop.

Everyone should support protests, strikes, and the future of our country.

Long Live Belarus!
