The head of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Hrodna region Vadzim Sinyausky asked the workers of the Hrodna enterprise "Khimvolokno" to forgive the police officers who "hurt you".

"I am ashamed of the actions of some of our employees. But we had no other choice. We will figure it out, I promise you. It is reported that in Hrodna the employees of "Khimvolokn" came out to demand fair elections; more than two hundred people gathered. The "mayor" of Hrodna, Mechyslau Hoy, and the head of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Hrodna region, Vadzim Sinyausky, came to calm the workers.

"Who gave the command to go - to beat unarmed people ?!" - the workers shout indignantly. From the crowds, it is heard that almost everyone here has relatives and friends who have suffered from beatings in the streets of Hrodna after the elections.
