Belarus goes on a general strike.

NEXTA telegram channel reports that employees of Minsk Margarine Plant left their workplaces in large numbers and joined the general strike.

It will be recalled that the All-Belarusian strike has been joined by several workshops of the Belarusian Steel Works (BSW) in Zhlobin, the State Institute of Powder Metallurgy in Minsk, Minsk Electric Plant named after Kozlov, Zhabinka sugar mill.

At the same time, tens of thousands of small and medium-sized enterprises of various forms of ownership and government agencies are not working in Belarus due to the Internet disconnection. Guided by fear of popular protests, Lukashenka disconnected the Internet and triggered a mass strike, which covers transport, trade, banks and IT.
