Belarus Introduces Intensified Control Over Persons Coming Back From Italy

The reason is the spreading of coronavirus in Italy.

Since February 25, Belarus will introduce enhanced sanitary and quarantine control over people coming to Belarus from Italy. These people will be subject to medical surveillance. The reason is the intensification of COVID-19 coronavirus in Italy, the press service of the Ministry of Health of Belarus reports. It is not recommended for citizens of our country to visit the regions of northern Italy, where quarantine has been announced.

China has already registered more than 77 thousand cases of coronavirus, in 28 other countries - 2101 cases (the closest to Belarus - Russia, Germany, Belgium, Italy, France, Sweden, Finland), almost 2600 people died. There are 542 people under medical supervision in our country, 712 people have already undergone it. 325 students have arrived from China, 141 of them are still under medical supervision. 265 Chinese workers have been temporarily isolated.
