Ales Krutkin Released After One Month Of Arrest
Ales Krutkin

The activist of European Belarus is to be released from Vitsebsk temporary detention center (TDC) at 15.30, February 26.

Tomorrow famous video blogger Ales Krutkin will be released. He spent 30 days in Vitsebsk TDC, reports the press service of European Belarus.

It will be recalled that January 27, the activists of European Belarus, Natallia Spirydonava and Ales Krutkin, were detained and taken to the police department of Kastrychnitski district of Vitsebsk. They were accused of posting leaflets "It's over for collective farm dictatorship!" There were drawn up protocols under Article 17.1 of the Administrative Code (petty hooliganism). The next day they were tried. Then Ales Krutkin was sent to the TDC, and Natallia Spirydonava was released on licence. But the activist was taken to Pershamaiski ROVD. The second protocol under Article 21.14 of the Administrative Code (Violation of the rules of the provision of settlements) was drawn up on her. As a result, all administrative cases were reclassified to Article 23.34 of the Administrative Code (violation of the legislation on mass events).

The Pershamaiski court of Vitsebsk considered one more case for posting leaflets. The decision was announced on February 13th. According to it, the activist was sentenced to other 15 days of arrest.
