An unknown man beat activist Maryja Halalyuk.

On the afternoon of August 14, an unknown man beat Maryja Halalyuk by the battery plant near Brest. He also damaged the car of Dzianis Malyshenka. Activists called the police, the traffic police and an ambulance, Brestskaya Gazeta reports.

Aleh Vialau, who arrived at the scene to help the activists on duty near the plant, said that on the afternoon of August 14, an unknown person attacked activist Maryja Halalyuk and beat her. In addition, the attacker damaged the car which belonged to another activist - Dzianis Malyshenka.

“An absolutely wild, inadequate attack was committed against her (Maryja - edit.). A man attacked the car of one of the attendants, started kicking it. Then he opened the door and attempted a fight with the driver. Then he turned around (and our girl was videoing the whole incident) and hit her, judging by the video, with his fist in the face. Then he continued beating her, knocked her down to the ground. He behaved absolutely inadequately,” Aleh Vialau said.

The activist managed to video-record the fact of the attack.

Then the attacker got into the car and drove away. Activists called the police, the traffic police and an ambulance.

According to Aleh Vialau, the attacker has been seen near the plant more than once, but his identity is not known.
