Russian Troops Seen In Belarusian Part Of Charnobyl Zone

Information about the presence of Russian troops in the Charnobyl Exclusion Zone near the Ukrainian border is being circulated on the social network, the press service of the 61st Independent Infantry Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Facebook on July 20.

The brigade said that it had already informed the commanders at all levels about the possible presence of Russian troops near the border.

"The presence of Russian troops near the northern border of Ukraine in the Belarusian part of the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone is already being verified. If it is confirmed, 61st Independent Infantry Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is ready to start defending Ukraine in a matter of hours at the specified section of the Ukrainian-Belarusian border and give a worthy response to the aggressor," - the brigade's press service stressed.
