Hundreds of Belarusians have arrived at the celebrations in Vilnius.
On November 22nd, people bid farewell to Kastus Kalinouski and his rebels in Vilnius. Hundreds of Belarusians have arrived at the solemn event in the former capital of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. Dozens of white-red-white flags can be seen in broadcasts from Vilnius, euroradio.fm reports.
A prayer service will be held in the Vilnius Cathedral. The funeral of the rebels will take place in the chapel at the Ross cemetery.
Lithuania and Poland are represented at the presidential level.
