Bold Graffiti On Road Charge Appeared In Haradok

The utility services are painting it over, but it shows up again.

Residents of the town of Haradok in Vitsebsk region have been trying to get the local administration to repair the road surface on Taulkachou Street for several years now, Vitsebsk Courier reports.

The road on the street really resembles a sieve made of holes.

According to the local residents, the 19th republican Dazhynki party was to be held in the town in 2014. However, Aliaksandr Lukashenko canceled the festival and Dazhynki became a regional festival throughout the country. Until the festival was canceled, they had managed to repair roads in the town center, but not in other districts.

Now the townspeople write complaints to the Haradok Housing and Public Utilities Department and regularly contact officials by writing on fences and walls. Communal workers paint up the inscription "Where are the roads, bastards?", but it persistently appears again.

In addition to the terrible roads, the residents of the city complain about the rare garbage collection. "Not only is the road like that, but the garbage hasn't been taken out for weeks. They say there is no petrol," - people say.

On November 8, the depth pump broke down, leaving a large number of houses without water. Drinking water is brought in cisterns, and people have to go to the old well for technical water, as almost all the water fountains are locked. A 20-tonne crane was brought in from Vitsebsk to repair the pump, but it couldn't get to the tower, as there is a section of the road with no asphalt. Therefore, the dates of the repair remain unknown.
