Information Minister Karliukevich Admitts That He Secretly Reads Charter-97

Apparently, Charter will hold to its own, and our actions will represent the state position," – Karliukevich said.

Today Charter97.org editor-in-chief Natallia Radzina has called on the deputies of the European Parliament to impose sanctions against Information Minister Aliaksandr Karliukevich, Deputy Information Minister Ihar Lutski (currently the general director of the television channel Metropolitan Television) and Andrei Pauliuchenka, the head of the Operational Analytical Center under Lukashenka's administration, responsible for the decision to block Charter97.org.

Also, the Charter's editor-in-chief calls for sanctions against the Lukashenka High-Tech Park until the pressure on independent media in Belarus is stopped.
