Schoolboy Hits Traffic Police Officer in the Face in the Zhabinka District

A teenager saw police officers drawing up the protocol against a young couple driving motor bike.

17 year-old student of the Zhabinka district is suspected of violence against a police officer, traffic police of the region informs.

On October 24 traffic police was informed about a road traffic accident near Bug sanatorium in Zhabinka. When officers arrived they saw a young man and a woman trying to escape the crime scene.

Young people ignored the requirement to stop. Police officers gained on fugitives. The young man confirmed the road traffic accident and explained that he decided to escape being afraid of traffic police officers.

It was a drunken young man of 23 years old, resident of Zaluzye village. Medical examination proved 2.2 per mille.

During the road traffic accident recording, another young man went out of the wood and decided to get involved into the administrative process. He used foul language against traffic police officers and tried to oppose the drawing-up of the protocol. The inspector made an observation to the young man, but he was aggressive and hit the officer in the face and ran away.

The violator was 17 years old. Earlier he was tried for causing minor bodily harm.

On October 31 the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case against him for violence against the officer. The suspect is detained.
