Political Analyst: Lukashenka's Entourage ‘Roach Racing’

The most terrible thing has happened for the dictator.

Director of the Institute of World Policy (Kyiv, Ukraine) Yevgen Magda said in his commentary to BGmedia that the system of power built by Lukashenka resembles ‘a colossus on clay feet.’

‘The current composition of the “all-Belarusian people's assembly” really has no right to make a mistake: all people have been shortlisted, all to a man Lukashenka supporters.

At first sight, it's a colossus, but a colossus on clay feet: if Belarus starts transformations, the current members of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly will be roach racing - who manages to swear to the new power first.

And the worst thing for Lukashenka is that this very thing may already be developing inside the ‘All-Belarusian People's Assembly’.

As they say, under the blanket, in the toilet, somewhere in a cubbyhole, but there will still be some hush-hush.

One cannot build a homogeneously refined society in which the only consolidating factor is swan loyalty to Lukashenka.
