German Chancellor Friedrich Merz sharply condemned the strike by the Russian occupiers.

The head of DW's Kiev bureau Nikolai Berdnik said that the shock waves significantly damaged the windows and ceilings in the office.

There was no one in the office at the time of the attack. Now, according to Berdnik, journalists continue to work.

The office of German public broadcaster ARD was also damaged.

"Ukraine has experienced one of the largest-scale Russian air strikes. Hundreds of drones, dozens of missiles, dead, wounded, significant destruction. The shockwave even reached the ARD studio in Kiev. Fortunately, our team was unharmed.
