Zelensky Named Three Formats For Peace Talks
Vladimir Zelensky

Ukraine's president said it was "time to end the war".

Ukraine has proposed three formats for future peace talks. They should take place soon at the leaders' level, and Kiev expects determination and openness to dialog from Moscow.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing a statement by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.

"Spoke with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz. Ukraine and Germany equally see the need to end the war as soon as possible with a dignified peace, and the parameters of the end of this war will determine the security conditions for Europe for decades," - said the President of Ukraine.

According to him, the war is exactly in Europe, and Ukraine is an integral part of Europe, because Kiev is already in talks on joining the European Union.

"Therefore, Europe should be a participant in the relevant processes. We have coordinated our positions with Germany. We have agreed to talk to Friedrich," he said.

Zelensky said that security advisers will meet online today to harmonize the common views of Ukraine, Europe and the United States.

"Also discussed yesterday were various potential formats of meetings for the sake of peace at the level of leaders in the near future: two bilateral formats, one trilateral," the Ukrainian leader emphasized.

He noted that Ukraine is not afraid of meetings and expects the same bold approach from the Russian side.

"It is time to end the war. Thank you all who are helping!", - Zelensky summarized.
