CNN: Trump Urged His Team To Quickly Prepare Meetings With Putin And Zelensky

US President Donald Trump has urged his team to act quickly when planning meetings with Kremlin chief Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.

It should be noted that Trump's special envoy Steve Whitkoff arrived in Moscow yesterday and held talks with Putin. A key topic was the war in Ukraine.

Afterward, Trump told European leaders by phone that he would like to meet with Putin, possibly as early as next week, followed by trilateral talks that would include Zelensky. CNN's source in the EU government confirmed the content of such a conversation.

Two White House officials also told the publication that Putin offered to meet with Trump during his meeting with Whitkoff.
