Explosions went off in various cities on the peninsula.
On the night of June 25, a series of explosions went off in different corners of occupied Crimea: under the attack of drones was in particular Dzhankoy district, where, tentatively, a "flight" on the local airfield was recorded.
The attack on Crimea began late in the evening of June 24: around 23:00 hours, explosions erupted in the Dzhankoy area, the enemy air defense was actively working there, the local pro-Ukrainian Telegram channel "Crimeanwind".
"In the Dzhankoysky district, the work of the RosPPO was heard," the report said.
At around 11:10 p.m., at least two explosions also occurred in Kerch. A drone flyover was also heard over the city.
A few minutes later, a series of explosions were heard again near Dzhankoy.

At around midnight, Crimean Wind reported that, according to preliminary information, there was a hit on the airfield in Dzhankoy as a result of a drone attack across Crimea. The publick also released footage of the night attack on Crimea.
The explosions also soon went off near Cape Chauda: Russian air defense was active there.
The attack on Crimea also continued after 01:00 hours. Residents of Kerch heard repeated sounds of explosions.
The local occupation authorities have not yet reported on the consequences of the attack on Crimea. However, the Russian Defense Ministry noted that allegedly only 1 drone was destroyed in the skies over the occupied peninsula.

Dzhankoy is a military airbase operated by the Russian Navy as part of the Black Sea Fleet and located near the town of Dzhankoy. Before the Russian occupation in 2014, the airfield was a military and then a civilian airport.
In 1999, Dzhankoy was classified as an international airport.
Since the Russian occupation, the Russian Armed Forces have used it particularly for military purposes in their war with Ukraine.
