The self-imposed isolation of diplomats has been lifted.
The U.S. Embassy in Israel resumes operations on Wednesday, June 25. The self-isolation of diplomats has been lifted.
The US State Department reports that.
"Due to the ceasefire between Israel and Iran, the Home Front Command has lifted all restrictions and the US Embassy will operate as normal on Wednesday, June 25," the report said.
The self-imposed isolation order for U.S. government employees and their families has been lifted, it noted.
American employees and their families are prohibited from traveling outside Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Be'er Sheva until further notice. Transit between the three areas, particularly to and from Ben-Gurion Airport, is permitted.
We recall that on the night of June 25, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that Israel and Iran had reached an agreement on a complete ceasefire.
