Late in the evening of June 24 and after midnight, drones attacked the Russian city of Taganrog: locals heard a series of explosions, and air defense was active. The local Atlant-Aero factory, which specializes in components for combat UAVs and control systems, was probably under attack, Focus reported.

In particular, the company is involved in projects to produce Orion drones, REB complexes and other components for drones that Russia is using in its war with Ukraine, the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Andrey Kovalenko said in his Telegram channel.

"In Taganrog, something unknown flew into the Atlant-Aero plant," the report said.

Local channels also spread footage of drone attacks across the region. In the online videos, air defense systems can be heard operating and flashes in the sky can be seen.

At the same time, Russian Telegram channels are not reporting a drone attack on the Atlant-Aero plant. According to their information, the UAV attack in Taganrog recorded debris falling on the territory of the Avangard stadium, where a fire rose due to a roof fire.

In Azov, near Taganrog, a drone attack allegedly damaged the roof of a grain warehouse in the port.

There was no confirmation of the attack on the Atlant-Aero plant in Taganrog at the time of publication. An air alert continues in the region due to the threat of attack drones.
