Moscow was left without explanation.
Moscow said it has not yet received any explanation for US President Donald Trump's statement about the resumption of nuclear tests by the United States.
As "European Pravda" reports, such a comment by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov is quoted by TASS.
Lavrov said Moscow has not yet received any explanations from the United States through diplomatic channels about what Trump meant when he said about resuming nuclear tests.
"It is unclear whether he was talking about testing nuclear weapons carriers, about conducting so-called subcritical tests. Or whether Donald Trump was really talking about Washington's intention to resume full-scale nuclear tests," Lavrov said."
"The comments by Washington representatives, which find their way into the public space, testify to the fact that they do not have a common understanding of what the US president meant," the Russian Foreign Minister added.
Reminder, Donald Trump instructed the Pentagon to immediately resume nuclear weapons testing after the Russian ruler's statements about the testing of the Burevestnik cruise missile with nuclear propulsion.
