The French president promises they will be found.
French President Emmanuel Macron reiterated during a visit to Mexico on Friday that the royal jewels stolen from the Louvre will be recovered and security at the museum will be beefed up.
According to AFP.
Macron recalled that French law enforcers have already found several people involved in the robbery of the Paris museum.
"The jewels will be found, they (those involved in the robbery. - Ed.) will be arrested, they will be tried," he said.
The French president added that the robbery "was a shock for everyone," but at the same time is "an opportunity to come out even stronger."
"The security of the Louvre will be completely reviewed," Macron said.
Remember, the scandalous robbery of the Apollo Gallery in the Louvre occurred on October 19. It lasted only seven minutes. About a hundred law enforcement officers, particularly from Germany and Interpol, are involved in the investigation.
