Wolfowitz: Ukrainians Are Being Prepared To Act On Belarusian Territory

State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus Alexander Wolfovich drew the attention of colleagues from the CIS countries to the problem of weapons accumulated in Ukraine at the end of the annual meeting of secretaries of the CIS security councils, held in Moscow on November 5. He told journalists about it after the meeting, reports BelTA correspondent.

"The problem of accumulation of a large number of weapons in Ukraine cannot but worry. Today, the population of Ukraine has more than 150 thousand units of various weapons - from the civilian population and from various gangs, which are being prepared to operate there, including on the Belarusian territory," said Wolfovich.

"These weapons will sooner or later begin to spread throughout the CIS territory, especially after the special military operation. What will it lead to? Again to certain threats to the security and lives of our citizens. This is also a common problem that must be solved," he emphasized.
