The AFU Broke Through Enemy Defenses Near Dobropillya

The occupiers are suffering colossal losses.

Fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine advanced near Dobropillya, in Donetsk region and strengthened their positions east of the city. Geolocation footage confirms the Ukrainian forces' control over the areas near Shakhovo.

Analysis of the fighting in this area was released by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW). Specialists note that Ukrainian units have advanced westward from the village of Shakhovo, which is located east of Dobropillya.

Russian milblogger stated that the AFU fighters managed to take control of the territories near the village of Novoye Shakhovo, which were previously seized by occupiers from Russia's 1st Slavyansk Motorized Rifle Brigade. At the same time, Russian occupation troops continued to attack Ukrainian positions east of Dobropillya. The fighting took place near the settlements of Shakhovo, Mayak, Dorozhnoye and Zapovednoye.

Occupants have changed the priority of their offensive

The ISW reports that Russian troops have changed the priority of their offensive from the direction of Konstantinovka-Druzhkovka in favor of capturing Pokrovsk and Mirnograd. The occupiers' offensive on these towns is accompanied by losses in manpower. According to the Institute for the Study of War, the Ukrainian military notes that despite heavy losses, new units of the occupiers regularly appear on the battlefield.

Geolocation records published on November 1 indicate that the occupiers have advanced to the southeast of Pokrovsk. The Russians continued their assaults near Grishino, northwest of the city, Rodynskyi and Sukhetskyi, in the north and near Krasny Liman, Novoekonomicheskoye, Nikolayevka, Razino, Uyut, Boykivka and Fedorovka, which is northeast of Pokrovsk.

Also on November 1 and 2, attacks were recorded near Mirnograd, Lisovka, Sukhoy Yar, Zverev, Kotlinoye, Udachnoye and Molodetskyi.

According to Ukrainian sources, in the area of Rodynskoye and Pokrovsk there are many destroyed Russian equipment, which was attacked by AFU drones.

In the same direction there is a significant number of losses in the ranks of the occupants. The Russians are repeatedly attacking with the same routes, due to which they suffer losses. It is known that the Russian command sends untrained fighters into battle to divert the fire of Ukrainian drones or artillery on them and see the positions. After that, the occupants' assault units try to engage.

It is also known that the units of the 155th Marine Brigade of the occupants have lost combat capability due to the loss of personnel. They were replaced by the 108th motorized rifle and 68th tank regiments.
