Azerbaijan Summoned Russian Ambassador

Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mikhail Yevdokimov was summoned to the Foreign Ministry on Friday, November 14. He was protested over the Russian shelling that damaged the Azerbaijani embassy in Kiev.
The press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said.
"During the meeting, a strong protest was expressed in connection with the fall of one of the Iskander-type missiles on the territory of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan as a result of missile and drone attacks on the capital of Ukraine, the city of Kiev, at about 01:00 on November 14, about which he was handed a corresponding note verbale," the press release says.
The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said that Russia was informed that the fence of the embassy was completely destroyed as a result of the strike. Structures, service cars, administrative building and consular department were also damaged.
Serious damage was caused to the diplomatic mission complex. No casualties were reported.
The Foreign Ministry noted that such rocket attacks, which contradict the norms and principles of international law, have taken place before.
