Aliyev Reacts To Russian Strike That Damaged Azerbaijani Embassy

The President of Azerbaijan talked to Zelensky.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has condemned the Russian overnight strike on Ukraine that hurt the Azerbaijani embassy.

The declared Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky following a conversation with his Azerbaijani counterpart.

"Spoke with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. Thank you for your support and sympathy for our people," he said.

Zelensky noted that Russian invaders used hundreds of drones, missiles, including ballistics against Ukrainians this night.

"Unfortunately, there is destruction and damage, the Azerbaijani embassy was also damaged. Mr. President condemned this strike and stressed that this is not the first time Russians are aiming at the embassy building and other objects related to Azerbaijan," the Ukrainian leader said.

In addition, the two presidents discussed bilateral relations and partnership development.

"There is indeed a green light in all areas of bilateral cooperation. There is a good potential and we will realize it," Zelensky added.
