Fog Trapped Russians Trying To Enter Konstantinovka

The AFU fighters inflicted significant losses to the enemy in manpower and equipment.

Soldiers of the 28th separate mechanized brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign of the AFU Ground Forces have repelled an attempt by Russian troops to break through to Konstantinovka in Donetsk Region and its outskirts.

The brigade reported this in Telegram, Censor.NET reports.

Russian troops tried to take advantage of thick fog to stealthily attack the positions of Ukrainian defenders. They pulled together significant forces of personnel, counting on the surprise factor.

"Our scouts detected the movement of enemy groups in time, and the brigade fighters met them hotly. The fog became a trap for the Russians themselves - they could not see where they were coming from, while we worked clearly and with precision," the unit said.

The Ukrainian military inflicted significant losses in manpower and equipment on the enemy. Part of the Russian groups retreated, while the rest remained on the battlefield.
