Zelensky Spoke About The Successes Of The AFU Counteroffensive

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has heard a report of the AFU Commander-in-Chief Alexander Syrsky. Special attention was paid to the Dobropillya operation. This was announced by the head of state during his evening video address on Wednesday, October 8.

"Today, Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyy gave a long report - we talked to him for almost an hour - on all front lines, on the preparation of our brigades, on the provision. Special attention now, of course, to the Dobropillya operation, the counter-offensive operation," Zelensky said.

The President said that from the beginning until today the Russians have already had more than 12 thousand losses, and this is only in the areas of Pokrovsk, in the areas of Dobropillya, just for the time since August 21.

"Of these 12 thousand, they have more than 7200 - irrecoverable losses. We are also defending ourselves in all other directions. Kupyansk - I want to thank each of our soldiers who are fighting now in the city and in the surrounding areas. The Novopavlovsk direction is also not easy, and our active defensive actions continue there, there are really good results," Zelensky added.
