The country may have a cyber force.
New troops - cyber forces - may appear in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The draft law will be considered in the Verkhovna Rada on October 7, according to the telegram channel of the AFU General Staff.
"The Armed Forces of Ukraine are continuing the process of building up capabilities to fight in cyberspace," the report says.
On October 7, the Verkhovna Rada is scheduled to consider the first reading of draft law No. 12349 "On Cyber Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine". It was developed by a working group, which included specialists from the General Staff of the AFU.
The creation of cyber forces in Ukraine was proposed in October 2024. Then the military discussed the concept of a new kind of troops with the people's deputies of Ukraine. The project was considered taking into account the experience of organizing cyber forces in the leading countries of the world, the AFU General Staff said.
