That hasn't happened in six months.

Eight closed airports, shutdown near Belgorod, fires from Tuapse to Nizhny. Russia has been subjected to the largest Ukrainian drone attack in six months, the Telegram channel "We can explain" writes.

The Russian military reported the destruction of 251 drones over 16 regions. Most of all drones were shot down over the Black Sea and annexed Crimea. This is the largest attack on the Russian Federation since March - 337 drones were shot down then, which was a record since the beginning of the war.

Targets included energy facilities and at least one enterprise fulfilling military orders:

In Dzerzhinsk (Nizhny Novgorod region), the Sverdlov plant - one of the largest producers of explosives (industrial and military) in Russia - was allegedly attacked. The governor reported one person injured, he denies damage to any enterprises.

In annexed Feodosia, an oil terminal was hit, a major fire broke out at it, firefighting is still ongoing. Explosions are also reported near Simferopol and Yevpatoria.

Operations in Krasnodar region reported the fall of "debris" at a refinery in Tuapse, two guards were injured. At night, explosions and air defense work were heard in the city.

In the Belgorod region, energy facilities were hit, two people were injured. As of 7 a.m., 24 settlements in the region remained without electricity.

In Klintsy, Bryansk region, a thermal power plant was attacked, the city was without heat and electricity for some time.

The airports of Sochi, Gelendzhik, Krasnodar, Yaroslavl, Kaluga, Nizhny Novgorod, Tambov, and Saratov stopped working during the UAV raid.

The Russian Federation raid came the night after a deadly attack on Ukraine - on October 5, the Russian army launched 50 missiles from about 500 drones, said Vladimir Zelensky. 5 people were killed, 10 were injured. The shelling intensified after the final collapse of peace talks initiated by Donald Trump, who returned to the White House.
