Sanctions and lack of funds have produced results.
The Russian Federation has recorded a decline in the military-industrial complex - industries that have long been the locomotive of the economy, which is reflected in the official statistics of the Russian Federation.
In September, the growth rate of production in the military-industrial complex industries fell to 0.4%, while in August it was 2.4%, writes RBC-Ukraine.
For example, the output of vehicles, including tanks and BMPs, fell from a 61.2% growth in August to 6% in September.
Analysts attribute this to budget constraints, which forced the government to cut spending on defense orders in the last quarter of the year, which could lead to an overcooling of the economy. A possible additional blow is new U.S. sanctions that will complicate oil sales to India.
