April 6, 2023 he was sentenced to 4 years in prison on charges of insulting a representative of power (Article 369 of the Criminal Code), insulting Lukashenko (Article 368 of the Criminal Code), incitement of hatred (Article 130 of the Criminal Code) and abuse of power or authority (Article 426 of the Criminal Code).
