An Unidentified Drone Exploded Near The Border With Russia In Kazakhstan

The country's Defense Ministry is determining the origin of the drone.

In the Burlin district of Kazakhstan, which borders Russia, a drone explosion was recorded. It is not yet known whose it was.

It is reported RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan.

- In Burlin district of West Kazakhstan region the fact of explosion of an unmanned aerial vehicle of unknown origin was recorded, - the agency said in a statement.

The Ministry of Defense specified that the wreckage fell in a remote area where no one lives. There were no casualties or damage.

The Ministry together with authorized government agencies is now conducting checks to establish the circumstances of the incident and the origin of the drone.

- The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan has taken additional measures to strengthen control over the airspace and prevent unauthorized crossing of the state border by aerial objects, - added in the Ministry.

The Ministry is already consulting with partners, which "potentially could belong to the given aircraft.
