Rockets And Drones Attacked Sochi

Tourists in hotels have been relegated to basements.

Russians complain that on the night of October 17, the city of Sochi was under attack by unknown drones and missiles. For this reason, tourists in hotels had to be lowered into basements.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Russian Telegram channels.

The first reports about the threat of attack by unknown drones appeared. In particular, Sochi Mayor Andrei Proshunin published a post at 02:15, in which he indicated instructions on how to act in this or that situation.

Simultaneously, in a number of publics began to appear footage from Sochi, where the alarm was heard. Telegram channels also wrote that air defense systems were working against the background of the drone attack, and at least three explosions were heard over Adler.

Closer to morning, at 4:55, the mayor of Sochi wrote that air defense systems were working in the city and allegedly reflecting the missile attack.

"I ask Sochi residents and guests of the city to remain calm and observe the necessary safety measures. If you live near the coastline - in no case go outside, stay in a blind room without glazing," he wrote.

At the same time, Telegram ASTRA wrote that tourists in Sochi hotels began to be lowered into basements and underground parking lots.

There was no information about any missile attacks on the city at the moment.
