The Polish Foreign Minister told us what needs to be done to achieve this.
Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said at a press conference that a single phone call could end the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, writes "European Pravda".
In Sikorski's opinion, the only thing needed to end the war in Ukraine is Vladimir Putin's decision to withdraw Russian troops and his call to the head of the Russian General Staff Valery Gerasimov.
That is why, the Polish foreign minister added, solving the conflict in Ukraine is easier than ending the war in the Middle East.
When asked if the chances of Putin calling Gerasimov were growing, Sikorski said that "they grow when the Russian economy starts to slow down."
"Ukraine has shown that it has been holding back Putin in the Donbass for 10 years. Putin is not going to win. We need to show that we are ready to support Ukraine in the medium term, and implement our Western sanctions on Russian oil, gas and technology," he added.
