Hamas has failed to fulfill its responsibilities.
Israel will not open the Rafah crossing at the Gaza-Egypt border on October 15. The country will also restrict the flow of humanitarian aid into the enclave, Ynet reported.
The portal said the decision was made due to the Palestinian Hamas movement's violation of a commitment to return the bodies of all dead hostages.
On Oct. 13, Hamas handed over all 20 remaining live hostages to Israel as part of a peace agreement. According to The Times of Israel, Hamas has handed over the bodies of only four hostages to Israel, with another 24 bodies remaining in Gaza.
The first group of those released included Alon Ohel, Matan Angrest, Eitan Mor, Gali and Ziv Berman, Omri Miran and Gai Gilboa-Dallal, while the second group included Elkana Bukhbut, Bar Cooperstein, Maxim Harkin, Segev Kalfon, Eitan Gorn, David Kunio, Ariel Kunio, Nimrod Cohen, Avinatan Ohr, Yosef Haim Ohana, Matan Tsengauker, Evyatar David, and Rom Braslavsky.
