Details have emerged.
Russian investigators have figured out the circumstances of the killing of four servicemen from Bashkortostan, which took place in August 2023.
The main character in the story is Lieutenant Ramil U. with the call sign ‘Samurai’, who was in charge of the ‘Vatan’ detachment, writes the Russian BAZA.
This Samurai came to the location of his detachment, lined up his subordinates and selected those who, in his opinion, were drunk. There were seven people - Saint, Raf, Yakuza, Fix, Ren, Kir and Mukha. As forensics later showed, at least Yakuza and Raf were quite sober.
Samurai decided to punish his subordinates severely: on his orders, their weapons were taken from them, each of them was tied to a tree and beaten. He himself was also beating them up - for example, with his feet and a stick. After that he got into a lorry with his driver Rukh and drove away. However, the story was just beginning.
After a while, Samurai received a phone call from one of the military and reported that several people tied to trees had managed to free themselves. And soon he met other servicemen on the road who told him that there had been a murder in his camp - a serviceman with the call sign ‘Artist’ had been killed. Samurai didn't bother to find out who exactly killed Artist - he put a machine gun on the back of the truck and ordered the driver to return.
Upon arriving at the camp, Samurai shouted for all those who had gotten loose and hidden in the forest to come out, otherwise he would open fire with the machine gun. Three men showed up, Saint, Raf, and Yakuza. The Lieutenant started asking about the dead Artist, but the three answered nothing. Then Samurai tied them to the trees again and beat them. About that time, they found Artist's body.
Samurai then ordered the dead body and the barely alive Saint, Raf and Yakuza to be loaded into a truck. He told the eyewitnesses that the beaten men had committed a particularly serious crime, so they should be taken to headquarters.
However, they were actually taken to the forest. There Samurai took some grenades and blew up the subordinates. Two died immediately, and the lieutenant finished off the third with another grenade. The bodies of the military men were burned.
After that, Samurai reported that the suspected military men escaped. However, their bodies were found a few days later, and the lieutenant himself was detained.
Later it became clear that in fact Raf and Saint had nothing to do with the murder of Artist. According to the investigation, the serviceman was killed by Yakuza together with another serviceman (he has already been sentenced to 13 years).
The investigation of the case is over. Lieutenant Ramil-Samurai and his driver Rukh were charged with murder, but the lieutenant did not admit his guilt, and his driver partially admitted his guilt.
