CEO Assistant At Mazyr Oil Refinery Died At Work

On July 18, Valery Boisha died at work. He was 59 years old. Homel Viasna reported the sudden death of the assistant general director of the Mazyr Oil Refinery.

According to human rights activists, the story of bringing to administrative responsibility the employees of the Mazyr Oil Refinery - Boisha himself and the editor of the factory newspaper Sviatlana Bohush - had such bad consequences.

They were tried under Part 2 of Art. 19.11 (distribution, production, storage, transportation of information products containing calls for extremist activities or promoting such activities) of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus.
