Hrodna Azot Still Unable To Recover From Shutdown Of Production

Only some sections have been restarted.

Hrodna Azot OJSC has restarted so far only three production facilities after yesterday's incident with power supply. According to the company, the production of urea, methanol and UAN is already back on track.

Start-up operations at the caprolactam and ammonia shops are continuing, the nitric acid department is being prepared for start-up. The launch of polyamide shop No.1 at Khimvalakno is in progress, the work of other shops has been resumed.

Yesterday, an emergency shutdown occurred at the 330 kW Hrodna-Paudniovaya substation while carrying out routine maintenance work. There was no power supply for 15 minutes.
