He was allegedly driven by a Belarusian.

When checking the car of a Belarusian travelling from Poland, customs officers allegedly found "a lot of packages with cartridge cases and bullets that were hidden in caches".

A whole weapons arsenal was allegedly found in his house. Now the man is facing a criminal case, according to the State Customs Committee.

The incident took place the other day on the Belarusian-Polish border at the Brest checkpoint. There, customs officers allegedly stopped for inspection a Citroën C4 driven by a 50-year-old Belarusian, who was travelling from a neighbouring country.

20 plastic bags were allegedly found in his car during the scanning procedure. They announced that 75 kg of cartridge cases and bullets were found there. The packages, in turn, were hidden in specially arranged hiding places, including in the spare wheel.

A search was also carried out at the man's place of residence: they "found" a whole arsenal of firearms and ammunition there.

They are considering the issue of initiating a criminal case against him.

Earlier, propagandists said that a foreigner was “liquidated” during the detention in Hrodna, who allegedly threw grenades and opened fire with an assault rifle at the KGB special forces.
