Association Of Allergists And Immunologists To Be Liquidated In Belarus

The association has been operating since 1998.

On March 6, the Supreme Court ruled to liquidate the Belarusian public organization Association of Allergists and Clinical Immunologists. According to Vitsebsk Viasna, the liquidation was initiated by the Ministry of Justice.

The office of the organization was in Vitsebsk. Its main founders and members were mainly employees of the Vitsebsk State Medical University.

The Association of Allergists and Clinical Immunologists was founded in 1998. Since 2013, it has been a member of the World Allergy Organization (WAO).

Members of the organization developed and put into practice new methods for diagnosing, treating and preventing allergic diseases, immunodeficiencies and other types of immunopathology. There were real professionals among them: only eight professors and five associate professors worked in the leadership of the association.

The association fell under the “purge” of public organizations, which has been going on in Belarus since July 2021. During this time, hundreds of public organizations were liquidated.
