Belarusian Military Heading To CSTO Exercises

Armenia refused to participate in the exercises.

The Belarusian military contingent left for Kazakhstan to participate in the exercises, the press-center of the Ministry of Defense reported. The Belarusian military will take part in three exercises at once.

They will have joint exercises with the collective rapid response forces of the CSTO “Interaction-2022”, special exercises with the forces and means of reconnaissance “Poisk-2022”, special exercises with the forces and means of logistics “Echelon-2022”.

All three exercises are being held in a complex at the Matybulak training ground in Kazakhstan from September 26 to October 13. As reported, in the course of the Echelon-2022 exercises, issues of organizing logistics will be worked out, and the Poisk-2022 reconnaissance forces and means exercises will be aimed at working out the organization and conduct of reconnaissance in the interests of preparing and conducting a joint operation.

The Interaction-2022 exercises will work out the issues of preparing and conducting a joint operation to localize a border armed conflict.

In addition to military personnel, representatives of the special forces of the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Emergency Situations, which are part of the collective rapid response forces, will also be involved in these exercises.
