Russia Exhausted And Can No Longer Attack On Several Fronts At A Time
OleksiyDanilov

The secretary of the National Security and Defence Council spoke about the occupiers' new tactics.

The Russian army no longer has strength to attack on more than one front direction. In four months of a full-scale invasion, signs of depletion of the aggressor country's arsenal have become noticeable.

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov says this in an interview with WSJ.

According to him, after the first mistakes, the Russian Federation "found a tactic that works".

As Danilov explains, while the enemy tried to break deep into Ukrainian territory in the initial stage, they failed and lost elite units, now the Russians are advancing in steps under the cover of artillery.

"Russia is accumulating a large number of artillery and armored vehicles on every square kilometer that the Ukrainian military is unable to cope with, and it gives Russians an advantage," Danilov says.

At that, the secretary of the NSDC points out that Ukraine must wage a defensive war right now.

"The arrival of American HIMARS high-mobility artillery missile systems last month enabled Ukraine to strike exactly those Russian targets that were previously beyond the reach of Ukrainian equipment. The Russians are defenseless against them (HIMARS - ed.)," Danilov notes.

He also adds Ukrainian forces were using so much Soviet-era weaponry and ammunition that it would gradually need to rely on NATO weaponry.
