Guterres And His “Surplus Appropriation”
Andrei Sannikov

Have you noticed how Lukashenka suddenly ran joyfully through all his media, how inspired he is spreading his usual nonsense?

Pathological psychiatrists know that this happens when a patient manages to throw off someone big, set something up or get a chance to get away without punishment. The current joy of the dictator is caused not by something minor but by the UN Secretary General António Guterres himself who suddenly decided to discuss the problem of world hunger with the criminal, namely the transit of Ukrainian grain through Belarus to Klaipeda and other ports in the Baltic.

Absurd times, absurd politicians and international bureaucrats. Imagine how happy the director of a seedy state farm was when he found out that the general secretary himself would call him. Well this is Brezhnev, Andropov and Chernenko rolled into one!

Guterres is very concerned about world hunger. He wants to help the starving and in this search he suddenly discovered Lukashenka (or he was prompted) who could definitely help the starving people in Africa.

The Secretary General very emotionally warns that "in the absence of urgent measures, millions of people in the world may be on the verge of starvation." Oh, sorry, he said this at a meeting of the UN Security Council in March last year.

But the Executive Director of the UN World Food Program (WFP), David Beasley, said that "humanity may face a famine of" Biblical proportions "if it does not ensure food security."

Powerful. Oh, sorry again, this was said even earlier, in April 2020. This means that the problem of hunger in the world existed even before the war with Ukraine, which was unleashed by Russia. I will say more: in 1961, it was with the aim of ridding the world of hunger that the UN World Food Program was created to help less well-off countries with food and (attention!) TO MAKE FOOD SUPPLY IN SITUATIONS OF WARS AND CONFLICTS. In the 61 years of the program's existence, the number of hungry people in the world has only increased.

Two years ago, this program received the Nobel Peace Prize, but in just a year after the prize was awarded the number of hungry people increased by 161 (!) million people, and 41 million people are on the verge of starvation.

Further more. Here Guterres calls Lukashenka and offers a lifeline, they say you will earn money on transit and, maybe, we will start talking to you. They didn't criticize him. Dictators always need everything and as soon as possible so Lukashenka immediately set conditions. The main thing is to open ports for its cargo, i.e. primarily for potash fertilizers. It seems that the two co-aggressors discussed in advance a joint fight against sanctions, which, whatever one may say, are slowly but pressing them. I just can’t understand why Guterres and his company are lobbying the international criminal Lukashenka?

Does he want to solve the food crisis for the hungry?

No. I would the turn to Canada, the USA, Australia, India, even China. They produce and export more grain than Ukraine, and are quite capable of increasing exports.

Does he want to help Ukraine?

Also no. The transit of grain through Belarus will only help Lukashenka, who will profit from this and this will not help Ukraine to ship all of its export grain.

I would very much like to know why the chief bureaucrat of the largest international organization that declares concern for human rights suddenly decided to talk to an illegitimate dictator, a malicious and long-term violator of these rights? Why did he begin to offer him some deals behind the backs of the Belarusian people? Why did he completely “forget” to mention the thousands of political prisoners? Why didn't he at least say: let everyone out - and you will be happy with grain and potassium? Not the best option but a possibility! It seems that the UN Secretary General does not know that in Lukashenka's prisons thousands are being killed, tortured and even starved which Guterres is bravely fighting against. He is concerned about “saving the world” and not about some people in Belarus. So he offers his own version of the “surplus appropriation”. This is when they turn a blind eye to the crimes of the dictator in order to solve the food problem at the expense of the victims of the regime.

I have a suggestion on how to solve the problem of hunger. Strong, healthy men from Africa and Asia, especially trained in the use of weapons, could come to Ukraine, enlist in the foreign legion and help the Ukrainians deal with Russia. Something tells me that strong healthy men from Africa and Asia consume noticeably more food than their wives, mothers and children. This means that their business trip to the war zone would significantly reduce the food shortage for their families. In addition, I am absolutely sure that they will not only be given allowances, but will be fed "from the belly", as Ukrainians know how. Well, a victory over Russia would solve the problem with grain transportation.

Hunger, of course, must be fought. Let’s solve this problem together. But it is also necessary to fight together against dictatorships in Russia and Belarus.
