Psychotherapist: Lukashenka Has Expansive Paranoia

It was formed in the dictator's childhood.

Practicing psychologist and psychotherapist Alena Shershniova describes some mental problems of the Belarusian dictator and their causes on her YouTube channel:

- Lukashenka has obvious signs of expansive paranoia. He sees danger at every step, suspects those around him of wanting to harm him. When Lukashenka fell ill during the epidemic of the coronavirus, he saw his enemies' intrigues even in that. And in one of his interviews he said that the virus had been "planted" on him. And his famous speech about "where from they were preparing an attack on Belarus," that alone says a lot!

Paranoid disorders tend to form in childhood, when a child does not feel safe. Aliaksandr was brought up by his mother, who, judging by his interviews, punished him harshly, probably using physical force. Not surprisingly, Aliaksandr's need for basic security was frustrated. Lukashenka's paranoia is also evident in his propensity to deceive. More than once he has voiced facts that denied each other, or were simply illogical. For example, he said that his father died in the Great Patriotic War. In spite of the fact that the war ended in 1945 and he himself was born in 1954.

Fortunately, paranoid disorder is treatable, although it does require serious therapy.
