Security Services Came To Belarusian Independent Trade Union In Salihorsk

The Belarusian Workers’ Union (BWU) reported this.

The security service officials also came to the office of the Chairman of the Belarusian Independent Trade Union at Belaruskali, Aliaksandr Mishuk.

“There are searches in the building currently. It is reported that the Aliaksandr Mishuk, the Chairman of the Belarusian Independent Trade Union of Belaruskali OJSC, has been detained. At the moment, no one is allowed into the building and they refuse to comment,” the BWU reports.

In April, the KGB and other law enforcement agencies carried out searches and arrests of trade union activists.
