Zelensky Indicates The Most Difficult Frontline Sector

The Russians staged a massacre there, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a counterattack.

The most difficult situation at the front has developed in the Donbas. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky added that in this region the Russian occupiers staged a massacre.

It is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the appeal of Zelensky.

"The most difficult combat situation now is in the Donbas. Bakhmut, Popasna, Siverodonetsk, the occupiers have concentrated the greatest activity there," the president said.

The head of state noted that Russian troops had staged a massacre in this region and were trying to destroy everything that moved there. According to him, no one destroyed the Donbas in the way that the Russian army is doing now.

“I am grateful to all our soldiers who hold positions and have the courage to counterattack,” Zelensky added.

Recall that Russian troops have increased the bombardment of the Donbas. Dozens of cities, towns and villages fall under enemy fire every day. So, on May 22, the occupiers shelled more than 45 settlements. There are killed and injured innocent civilians.

It should be noted that Zelensky had previously noted that the situation in the Donbas is very difficult, the enemy was trying to attack Slaviansk and Siverodonetsk.
