Another high-profile death of a Russian millionaire.

Russian businessman and president of the investment company Libertex Group, 53-year-old founder of Forex Club Vyacheslav Taran died in a helicopter crash on the Cote d'Azur.

Monaco Daily News writes about this, citing a source.

The publication writes, citing a “reliable official source” close to the investigation, who spoke on condition of anonymity, that the passenger of the Monacair helicopter that crashed over Monaco on Friday afternoon was businessman Vyacheslav Taran.

The Monaco Daily News writes that Taran has been living in Monaco for the past 10 years.

He was engaged in the field of cyber-currencies and investments. In 1997, he founded the Forex Club, now the company operates under the Libertex Group brand — this is an online platform for transactions in the field of cyber currencies and investments.

In September 2020, Roskomnadzor blocked the fxclub.org domain.

“Taran is listed as a board member of YouHodler SA in Lausanne, Switzerland, from where he was returning.

He graduated from the Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service with a degree in radio electronics,” the publication writes.

Also killed in the accident was a 35-year-old pilot who was described by the helicopter company as “very experienced”. Taran was the only passenger.

The information about the death of Taran was confirmed by the investment company Libertex Group.
